Men’s Tournament

He may have missed out on the chance of a Golden Slam, but Novak Djokovic has already won the three other Grand Slam tournaments this year and he will start the US Open as the hot favorite with BetRivers to win the tournament.

In fact, you can back Djokovic to win the event at -134, which is an incredibly short price for a tennis tournament. He is just +750 to win the tournament without losing a set, both those prices with BetRivers.

For this offer, you would want to back players that have a good chance of serving a high number of aces, so players like Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, John Isner, Marin Cilic and Philip Kohlschreiber (the latter two face each other) are all names to consider.

Others to consider include Alexander Bublik, who has hit the most aces this season of all players (642 to John Isner’s 640), Danil Medvedev, Matteo Berrettini, Alexander Zverev and Marin Cilic.

In terms of winning the tournament though, it is hard to see past Djokovic completing the first Grand Slam since Rod Laver in the 1960s with a win here.

Women’s Tournament

The women’s event is a much more open tournament although Ashleigh Barty is the +300 favorite to win the tournament, which would be her second Grand Slam of the year. After her victory at Wimbledon a couple of months back.

However, she faces plenty of stern opposition from a very open draw including veterans like Serena Williams, Petra Kvitova, Angelique Kerber and Victoria Azarenka as well as young and up-coming stars such as Cori Gauff and the current superstar of women’s tennis, Naomi Osaka.

Barty is also a great pick for this offer as she has more aces on tour this season (297) than any other women. Other players that have over 200 aces on tour this season include Karolina Pliskova, Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Veronika Kudermetova, Cori Gauff and Elena Rybakina.

Any one of those women would make a great pick for this BetRivers offer!
