First Gatorade color dumped on the winning Coach (Red +200)
I’ve heard a lot of rumors the color will be clear, and the odds favor orange. However, I like the second-favorite, Red. Both teams wear red, the Chiefs will be in the Red uniforms for the game, and the “tips” the past few years have all been wrong. This is my reasoning for picking the obvious choice.
Jersey number of First Touchdown Scorer – Including Overtime (Over 24.5 at -121)
This prop is just a numbers game. If Evans, Godwin, Tyreek Hill, Demarcus Robinson, Scotty Miller, Tom Brady, Pat Mahomes, or Mecole Hardman score the first touchdown, you will lose this bet. If anyone else scores the first TD (Kelce, Gronk, CEH, Fournette, Williams, Ronald Jones, Antonio Brown, Cameron Brate), you’ll win this bet. I like the latter group.

BetRivers Wacky Props
Act Your Age! Tom Brady to complete a 43+ yard pass and Patrick Mahomes to record 25+ completions in SB 55 (+220)
This will be a really fun one to root for. I like for Brady to have at least four deep ball attempts. His top four receivers are all good deep ball receivers, too. Mahomes will have a few over 25, but Brady is the big question mark here. Still, it’s a fun bet to root for and the odds are nice.
GOAT status – Bucs to win SB 55 LV, Lakers to win 2021 NBA Championship (NFL/NBA) +768
Last season, I took the Lakers to win the NBA title. It was fairly obvious and not an impressive pick. Regardless, if you like the Buccaneers in this game, why not essentially triple your odds by pairing it with the frontrunner for the NBA title?

Final Play to Be a QB Kneel -200
This one is fun, right off the bat. It’s very rare we see this prop because it really only comes around during the final game (as is the case for all these wacky props).
I like this one for a few reasons. For one, more games end on a kneel down. Second, if there’s limited time left in a game and a team is trailing, they probably aren’t going to actually run out of time (barring some bad clock management).
There are much better odds the team fails to convert a fourth down with the clock running down or turns it over in desperation. That will leave the leading team with the ball, a few minutes (or less) remaining, and a clear path of a kneel down (s) to end the game. I think the most realistic outcome here is the Chiefs lead by too much late, stop the Bucs on downs, and simply kneel it out for a ten-point win.
Buccaneers to win the coin toss and win the game +355
This is a hedge bet for those of you with a lot on the Chiefs. I’ve expressed faith in the Chiefs to win the game, but if they don’t, you’re getting 3.5 to 1 with this insurance bet.
If the Bucs win the toss, they’re probably deferring to the second half. With both these teams being slow starters, one will be at a big advantage getting the ball to start the second half. It’s advantages like this which could be the edge the Bucs need to get the win.
