So by now, you are probably fed up of Turkey, sick of the sight of Pumpkin Pie and your credit card has probably taken a beating from all the Black Friday craziness.
Time to put your feet up on this Thanksgiving Weekend and enjoy some NFL action and what a weekend we have in store this week!
I have seldom seen a weekend packed with so many key contests between teams that are either battling for divisional titles, a top seed spot in the playoffs, or just to get into the playoffs via the Wildcards.
We had our fair share of surprises last week, but unfortunately, the two teams I picked to cause an upset fell by the wayside as the Cowboys and Steelers came up short. That means I am now 9/16 on the season and I’ve hit Detroit Lions form unfortunately.
However, I am looking to bounce back this week in what promises to be an exceptional weekend of NFL action. So let’s take a look at the games taking place this week, including the three Thursday Night Games, plus all the action on Sunday and Monday too.
This week’s odds are provided by UniBet Sportsbook.

Sunday Shocker Picks For Week Twelve
Sunday’s games are stacked with a mix of divisional rivalries, or matches between teams that have lots to play for, even if it is just a bit of pride.
There’s a huge AFC North double header with the Steelers and Bengals facing off and then in the late game on Sunday, the Browns visit the Ravens and the results of these two games could go a long way towards how this division looks at the end of the regular season.
The rivalry between the Eagles and Giants, even though neither have had a great season, needs no introduction. These two teams are more than just rivals and any game between them always seems to end in a real battle.
There’s also a key AFC West matchup between the Chargers and Broncos, plus a game that has major implications for the playoffs in that conference between the 49ers and Vikings.
However, the big games for me this week are the Titans at the Patriots, the Colts hosting the Bucs and the Rams taking on the Packers.
So who is going to be our pick for the shock results on Week 12? Let’s take a look to find out.
Sunday Shocker 1 – New York Jets to beat the Houston Texans
Yes, I know. Why am I scraping the barrel with two of the worst teams in the NFL
when we have so many big games lined up this week? Well, it is all to do with that key word, value, and I think the Jets are precisely that against the Texans.
Look, there is no denying that both these teams can be pretty bad. Both have beaten the Titans this season but other than that they have generally suffered defeats and some of those have been pretty humbling.
Neither side moves the ball downfield particularly well, both have lost key players but I just feel that the edge is with the Jets because I think their defense has the ability to play hard and keep them in these kinds of games.
No the Jets are not going to win by a blowout and it may be a last second field goal kick that sees them win the game 6-3, but regardless I feel the +123 on the Jets to win on the moneyline, combined with Under 44 points and them to have a +2.5 handicap makes this a very good value option.
Sunday Shocker 2 – Indianapolis Colts to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sure, the Bucs looked back to their best last week, but that was against the Giants
and I think they are going to find the Colts a much tougher prospect to deal with here.
Since losing to the Titans, the Colts have put together a fine run of wins which has actually brought them back into contention in the AFC South and also into the equation for the Wildcard positions in the AFC too.
Their offense is solid and in Jonathan Taylor, they have a runner that can cause even the great Bucs defense plenty of problems, especially after a five-touchdown haul against the Buffalo Bills last week.
If one team is built to stop him, it is the Bucs but how much will the Bucs commit to stopping the run and how will that affect the coverage outside, because the Colts have some pretty dangerous receivers too.
This to me has the potential to be one of the games of the weekend. The Colts defense won’t be fazed by playing the Bucs and Tom Brady and they will know if they can get at the veteran QB, then their chances of a win increase dramatically.
The magic number for the Colts is 125 rushing yards. Every time they have managed this this season, they have won. I think they will just about get there against the Bucs and that will be why they win a close one here.
The Colts are +128 on the moneyline and +3 on the spread bet options with Unibet.
