You may recall that last week, we gave you a heads up that the Jets may well surprise the Titans with a victory and that the Cardinals may just do enough to cause the Rams a few issues.
Of course, both those things transpired, so I am back this week hoping to land another couple of Sunday NFL long shot bets, courtesy of BetRivers Sportsbook.
Let’s now take a quick look through the games taking place on Sunday and Monday following on from Thursday Night’s game between the Rams and the Seahawks in Seattle.

So where in this set of games are there likely to be some of the better odds shock results? Well, this week I think we have a couple of big opportunities to land some longer odds winners.
Can Eagles Get The Better Of The Panthers?
The Eagles have won just once this season, compared to three wins for the Panthers,
but there is a bit of hope for the Eagles this year. Jalen Hurts has got some chemistry going with rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith, Zach Ertz (pictured) remains a top quality tight end and although they have struggled defensively in their last two games, that was against the Chiefs and Cowboys.
The Panthers have beaten the Jets, Texans and Saints so far this season, none of which I feel are genuine top teams and the only top ten ranked team they have played according to our Power Rankings, the Cowboys, they were beaten by.
Without Christian McCaffrey the Panthers offense is severely blunted and I think that keeps the Eagles in this one and if Hurts, Ertz and Smith can fire, then I could see the Eagles winning a close one here. The Eagles are a money line bet at +157 with BetRivers.
Bills To Defeat The Chiefs?
No team has impressed me more over the last three weeks of the NFL season than the Buffalo Bills. I did wonder after their opening day defeat to the Steelers whether last season was a blip in the Matrix, but the past three weeks have shown that the Bills are around for a while.
What I love about them is their balance. Offensively they are in great shape, a superb passing game, an effective and dangerous running game, strong lines both on offense and defense and speaking of which a defense which has posted shutouts in two of its last three games.
Now we all know about the Chiefs explosive offense and how dangerous the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill can be. They may also have Josh Gordon activated for this game if the receiver has impressed enough in practice.
However, the Chiefs defense has looked very shaky in recent games and I think this Bills offense can profit on that and if their defense can muster up a few stops, then I think the Bills, who are +2.5 against the spread can land the win here. Take the Bills to win at +120 on the moneyline.
