Could The Jets Cause An Upset Against The Titans?
Tennessee were blown away week one by the Arizona Cardinals and lets be kind here and
say that Zach Wilson and the Jets offense…well…they have had some struggles of late, not managing a single touchdown in either of their last two games.
However, Wilson is learning and as we saw on Thursday night, good young quarterbacks learn quickly. We have seen Joe Burrow improve over the last 12 months, Trevor Lawrence is showing real signs of fast improvement, Wilson could well do the same.
This Titans defense is poor. Some questionable moves in the first round of the last two drafts haven’t helped the unit and while Bud Dupree is talented, he’s rarely been fit the past 12 months.
Sure, the Titans have won their last two, but their offense is likely to be without Julio Jones and AJ Brown for this game, which essentially means if you have Derrick Henry in your fantasy team, then you should be in for a big day.
Only you might not, for despite the unit being young, the Jets defense have stepped up this season and if they focus on taking away Henry, who have the Titans got for Tannehill to find?
Most people feel the Titans win this one easily. I’m not so sure. Tennessee has come unstuck against some poor teams over the years and with the Jets +7 on the spread and +260 on the win with BetRivers, I think the Spread bet is great value.
DeAndre Hopkins To Give The Rams A Torrid Time?
We’ve ranked the Rams as the number 1 team in the NFL at the moment, but I think they could be given a real test by what is fast proving to be a very strong Arizona Cardinals team. While I think the Cards may struggle in the running game, I think DeAndre Hopkins matches up well against the Rams secondary and with Murray’s ability to prolong plays, that should give Hopkins extra time he needs to get separation.
Add to that his flat speed and I think Hopkins is going to be a real threat for the Rams in this game. He is +1200 to score the first touchdown, +900 to score the last and +112 to score at any time. The latter is a definite pick and I think having him at +900 to score the last of the game is also a good move.
Whether that is enough for the Cardinals to land an upset win over the Rams, I’m not so sure, be I am willing to bet he gives the Rams real problems.
