Two Dynasties In The NBA Go Head To Head On Friday Night

We may only be a small way into the 2021-22 NBA Season, but we are already seeing the Western and Eastern Conferences starting to take shape and fans of two teams that have their own dynasties in the NBA will be excited to see the two teams clash tonight, with both very much embroiled in the battle at the top of each conference.

It should be a cracking game between the 10-1 Golden State Warriors and the 8-3 Chicago Bulls and of course, you can enjoy plenty of great betting action on the game with BetRivers Sportsbook and their excellent NBA coverage.

Let’s take a closer look at the two teams set to face off tonight.

Warriors Take Advantage Of Soft Start In The West

In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors have taken advantage of a relatively

soft early season schedule to open a two-game lead over the Utah Jazz at the top of the conference.

Steph Curry and company are 10-1 after winning their last six games and Curry has been well-supported by the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole this season, while Andre Iguodala and Nemanja Bjelica have made big contributions too.

However, their relative success must be tempered by the fact that they have had a very easy start to the season and that they have played eight of their eleven games so far at their home, the Chase Center.

What is impressive though is that the Warriors have started this well without Klay Thompson, who has a right achilles problem. James Wiseman and Damion Lee are also both likely out for the game tonight with knee and hip injuries respectively.

The Warriors lead the league in defensive ratings (99.2), points per game (115.9), 3 pointers per game (15.7) and assists per game (29.7).

While the Warriors have seen their entire squad chip in with valuable contributions this season, Steph Curry remains their talisman and he is already starting to look like a major challenger for the MVP honor this season.

New Look Bulls Charge Into Contention In The East

The Bulls revamped their roster ahead of the season with Nikola Vucevic, DeMar De Rozan and Lonzo Ball coming in, but it has been the telling contribution of Alex Caruso from the bench that has allowed their new stars, plus Zach LaVine shine this season.

An 8-3 start to the season sees the Bulls in second place in the Eastern Conference, although they have the same record as the Washington Wizards. Two of their three defeats this season have come in back-to-back games against the Conference Champions, Philadelphia 76ers, and the other against the New York Knicks.

The Bulls were my tip to do well this season in the Eastern Conference, even against the likes of the Nets, 76ers, Heat and Bucks and with the Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers also starting brightly, there is a real sense that this division could be fiercely competitive this season.

I do expect the Bulls to be a part of that conversation heading into the later stages of the season and as their teal gels, I think they will be much more competitive in the games against the top teams in both conferences.

That could start tonight with what would be a statement win against the Warriors.

Betting Tips For Bulls @ Warriors

You will be able to get the latest odds for the game on Friday morning ahead of the kick off later that night but looking at the two teams, I would back the Warriors to land the win. However, it will be a close one and depending on the spread, I may well back the Bulls in the spread market if it is around the +3 or +4 mark.
