Irving Performance Amazes Even Clippers Fans
While Harden and Durant played supporting roles, it was the play of Irving which drew most acclaim from those watching on between two of the top teams in the NBA.
He hit 15/23 field goals and six out of eight three pointers in the win but it was his play in general throughout the game both on defense and in working openings for others, that also caught the eye.
So much so, one Clippers fan felt moved to tweet.
As a Clippers fan, watching Kyrie Irving is infuriating. As a basketball fan, it’s mesmerizing.
What an amazing player.

While Kyrie was undoubtedly the star of the show, the fact that the Nets triumvirate of Irving, Durant and Harden combined for 90 points in the game will enthuse their fans as they head into the midway point of the regular season.
