Viktor Blom Winning All the Money
The Super High Roller Bowl is the latest event to take their talents online. And one Viktor Blom is on an absolute tear winning over $1.5 million so far. The young Swede won his third title of the series on Friday in theSHRB #14: $25,500 Super High Roller . He pocketed $407,500 for his efforts by the way. Blom defeated an obviously stacked final table that included Mike Watson, David Peters, and Sam Greenwood.
The win keeps him atop the 2020 Super High Roller Bowl Online Series Standings which look like this:
Meanwhile Sam Greenwood defeated Christoph Vogelsang heads up to win $400k and Event #20 $25,000 No Limit Hold’em.

-Maurice “Mac” VerStandig is the poker lawyer. And he recently penned an article for PokerNews talking about the legality on playing online and playing on peer-to-peer apps. Mac writes, “There is another lawful online poker option for some – but not all – American residents: unraked cyber “home” games. In certain states, playing an unraked poker game for money is kosher. And if both you and your respective adversaries are all positioned in these states, you should be in the clear so long as no one is charging to run the game.”
-Checking in with the World Poker Tour’s website, we find a new exciting blog from tournament director extraordinaire Matt Savage. Matt talks quarantine life in his latest article and adds, “We all look forward to returning to the live felt but for the time being, the WPT is taking steps to do what we can to keep the millions of fans and players keeping their eyes on the prize.”
-Heading on over to Cardplayerlifestyle.com, there’s a great new post from Julia Krotova talking about games besides Texas Hold ‘Em. Julia writes that learning newer games will even help you at NLHE writing, “The best players in the world rarely stick to one variant of the game and, if you want to achieve big things, you shouldn’t either.”
-And finally, USPoker.com had a chance to sit down with the latest winner of Pennsylvania’s biggest online poker tournament ever. Sean Chaffin talks to Dillon Longenbach, who managed to bink the tourney for $70k. “My mother didn’t believe me and laughed when I told her I had won,” says the 26-year-old player from Ivyland, PA. “After winning I actually had to take a walk because of all the adrenaline pumping.”
