GG Poker now allows video and audio responses from players

While the WSOP continues to roll on at GG Poker, the online poker room has released a new feature getting the attention of poker players. Snapcam has been introduced, a new way for poker players to communicate at the table using audio and video. At the time of release, the feature is only available on Windows computers, but a rollout is expected on Macs and mobile devices soon.

Players are able to initiate the SnapCam feature by clicking a button located at the side of their avatar. Video responses are limited to 15 second recorded messages and will be available through most games and tournaments. A maximum of 4 players can use the feature at one time.

Alex Stasiak wins $343k for second WSOP bracelet

The World Series of Poker has its first double bracelet winner of 2020 after Alex Stasiak took down the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em event on Thursday night less than two weeks after he was victorious in the $1,111 Every 1 for COVID Relief No Limit Hold’em event.

In taking down Thursday’s event, Stasiak won another $273,505 after defeating a field of 2,006 entrants. Stasiak’s victory in the $1,111 COVID event year weeks prior resulted in a $343,204 prize. With the victory, the streak of multiple bracelet winners in a year was extended. The WSOP has had a player win multiple bracelets in the same year in every World Series of Poker since 2000.
