Stones Live Poker also halts use of RFID technology
One day after suspending all broadcasts of the Stone Live Poker stream, the Stones Gambling Hall has posted a series of tweets explaining their latest investigation of the cheating allegations from the stream centering around player Mike Postle.
In the tweets, the California-based card room announced that they would be halting the use of RFID playing cards while an independent investigative team is established. The team will be lead by Michael Lipman, who Stones says is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California.

Many in the poker community are calling for somebody truly independent to also be involved to ensure a fair investigation, with some suggesting Joey Ingram or the California Gaming Commission.
How could @StonesLivePoker have alleged to do an investigation months ago while Mike alleges to have just found out about the investigation into his play days ago??? Are they saying that the people who investigated this never asked Mike about what employees claimed?

Not only does Udorpim win his first WPT title but he also takes home a $319,415 first-place prize. Coming in second, Deutsch also wins an impressive $202,905 second-place prize.
