The GGPoker WSOP Online Main Event has surprised its critics and eclipsed its $25 Million guarantee! Read all the final numbers and stats about this event below.

It may have taken a whopping 23 starting flights spread over more than two weeks, but GGPoker has done it. They have met their $25 million guarantee. And now the poker world waits to see who will be crowned champion, win that elusive bracelet and win the $3,904,686 first-place prize. That amount will be the largest ever first place prize in the history of online poker.
The total numbers for this event are 5,802 total entries put up the $5,000 USD buy-in creating a prize pool of 27,559,500 million bucks.
1,171 survived to Day 2. That day is currently underway right now with 260 left. 728 players made the money, and a min-cash was worth $11,834.
The plan today is for these 1,171 players to play down to just 40. Those 40 will then return Saturday, Sept 5 to play down to the eventual champion.
