Poker player Charlie Carrel has released his own cover version of a popular song for his grandmother.
Recent WPT Online Series Super High Roller winner Charlie Carrel unleashed his vocal talents onto the poker world Wednesday with a touching cover rendition of a hit song that achieved mainstream popularity through performance artist John Cale in the movie Shrek (2001).

The poker player known online as ‘epiphany77‘ advised YouTube viewers Wednesday that the he has more songs lined up for his grandmother, who he won’t be able to see over the holidays due to ongoing government social distancing mandates.
“I’ve recorded this + a bunch of other songs, as a Christmas present to my Grandma, as I won’t be able to see her over Christmas (thank you Corona). I hope it can bring happiness to other people too <3,” Carrel posted.
