Jonathan Dokler first 2020 WSOP braclet winner

The first bracelet of the 2020 WSOP Online Series has been awarded. Jonathan Dokler took down the $500 No Limit Hold’em Kick-off event on Wednesday night, defeating a field of 1,175 entries to win a first-place prize of over $130k.

Although this was Dokler’s first bracelet, it wasn’t the first time he has taken down a big prize online. In March, Dokler was victorious in the WSOP Circuit Online for a gold ring and a first-place prize of $78k. Earlier this year, Dokler also won the Borgata Winter Poker Open.

Mike Matusow, Jon Turner and Jesse Sylvia were among notable players cashing, but it was none other than Phil Hellmuth who made the biggest wave, holding the chip lead at one point late in the tournament and ultimately finishing in 11th to win $8k. Tony Dunst also finished in third with $58k.
