A date for the second round of the Phil Hellmuth vs Daniel Negreanu heads-up High Stakes Duel has been announced — and poker fans will have to wait a bit longer than expected.
Last week, PokerGo revealed that Round 2 will get underway at 8:00 PM ET. The match will once again be streamed on PokerGo, which can be accessed through a subscription of $14.99 per month or an average of $6.67 per month if you commit to an annual plan.

Thirty minutes before the start of the match, PokerGO will hold another weigh-in preview with Nick Schulman interviewing both players.
For Round 2, the buy-in will be increasing to $100k entry per player per rules of the High Stakes Duel format. Whoever loses Round 2 will have 3 days to request a rematch. Should Hellmuth win Round 2 and a future Round 3, Hellmuth could cash out his winnings.
Before you think that Hellmuth can’t take down three heads-up matches in a row against Negreanu, remember he did just that against rival Antonio Esfandiari last year in their High Stakes Duel matches.
For Round 2, Negreanu is currently listed at -166 on PokerShares while Hellmuth can be had for around +147. These were more or less the same odds as during Round 1 of the match.

Negreanu and Hellmuth discussed the next part of the match in a sit down with the No Game, No Future podcast with Brent Hanks and Phil Hellmuth. You can watch that below:
What happened during Round 1?
Going into Round 1 of Hellmuth vs Negreanu High Stakes Duel match, Negreanu was a solid favorite given his recent heads-up experience against Doug Polk, despite a convincing loss in that match.
And for much of Round 1, it was all Daniel Negreanu with Kid Poker holding a 97:3 chip lead at one point during the event. But the Poker Brat once again proved that you can never count him out as he staged a miraculous comeback and ultimately winning the match after approximately six hours.
