Small buy-ins and big prizes highlight another Global Poker Micro Thunder Series II coming to the U.S. facing sweepstakes online poker room on January 10th.
Over the course of eight days, Global Poker will hold not only 26 Gold Chip events but also 26 Sweep Coins (SCs) events guaranteeing 50,000 in prizes. The series culminates with a “Gods of Thunder” event that invites all players who finished at the final table of one of the Micro Thunder Series II events.
What you need to know
The action for the series gets underway on January 10th and through January 17th. During that time, Global Poker will hold 26 Gold Chip events and 26 Sweep Coins events.
Buy-ins for SC events start at just 1 Sweep Coin.
In addition to the guaranteed prizes available through the Micro Thunder Series 2, Global Poker is awarding some exclusive rewards to top players during the series. If you win a Sweeps Coin event, you will receive a special Global Poker Micro Thunder Series II trophy.
Gold Coin players will also receive a trophy for a tournament win while final tablers will receive a Micro Thunder Series II pin.
God of Thunder
On January 24th at 7:30 PM ET, Global Poker is holding the Gods of Thunder event for all players who final tabled in any of the 26 events. Players who make the final table in the Gods of Thunder Sweeps Coin event will also receive special prizes.
The winner of God of Thunder will receive a Micro Thunder Series II trophy as well as The God of Thunder hoodie, a cap and a pin. Players making the final table will receive a God of Thunder t-shirt, a cap and a pin.
If you are playing in Gold Coin events, equivalent prizes will also be available to top players.
What are Sweeps Coins?
For those that don’t know, Global Poker Sweeps Coins are used at Sweep Coins tables or tournaments. You can receive Sweeps Coings by making a purchase, among other methods. Global Poker players can use Sweep Coins at the table and exchanged for cash prizes should players choose.
