Glaser Wins Fifth SCOOP Title
With quarantine still affecting most of the world, this year’s PokerStars SCOOP is understandably HUGE. An insane 15 winners were crowned last night as there are tournaments all over the place these days.
And in the SCOOP #6 Benny Glaser emerged victorious in the $2,100 8-Game mix for a cool $55k. He was understandably pumped after the victory saying on Twitter:
I won the $2k 8-game! 😁
Won it for $55k, and my 7th COOP title 🏆
What an amazing start to #SCOOP. I hope it continues! 😀

Alex Weldon writes, “In order to reopen safely, casinos will have to find ways to change their environment and procedures to reduce the risk of contagion. That should make them safer for their customers in the long run and limit both the economic damage and loss of life from other future outbreaks. Here are some of the measures that casinos and related businesses have been using or proposing toward that end.”
-Over on CardPlayer, Steve Schult has all the information on what Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak is doing to re-open the state. However, right now there’s no plan to re-open the casinos. Steve writes, “Sisolak outlined the first few steps in his “Roadmap to Recovery” just a day after he announced that he would be extending his stay-at-home order until May 15. He will, however, be easing some restrictions on certain businesses surrounding outdoor activities like golf and allowing for curbside pickup for retailers.”
-Heading over to PokerCentral, the site is doing a lot of promotion as they slowly unveil new episodes of High Stakes Poker. It’s been called the greatest poker television program of all time.
