Ravid “jerbi9999” Garbi Wins 5K Event on GGPoker for $531K
It was a stacked final table, but after several hours of battling Ravid “jerbi9999” Garbi emerged victorious after beating Chris Moorman heads-up! Garbi won his very first bracelet and a whopping $531k first place prize. Incredibly, Garbi started the final table 9th in chips!
672 total entires made a huge prizepool of $3,192,000. Besides Moorman the other big name at the final table was high roller crusher Mikita Badziakouski, who came in as chip leader.

It was just 14 short years ago that Jamie won the 2006 WSOP during the height of the poker boom. And Mo Nuwwarah takes a look back at this day in history where Jamie Gold bluffed, value-bet, and talked his opponents to death. “By the time it was five-handed, Gold covered his other four opponents combined. It was a level of dominance rarely achieved before and not equalled since until Joe McKeehen’s 2015 big-stack clinic.”
-Sad news as WSOP commentator and everyone’s favorite curmudgeon Norman Chad has tested positive for Covid-19.In a tweet Monday, Norman announced that he had contracted the virus and will be quarantining for two weeks. We wish him a smooth and speedy recovery.

Sean has the full story as Brad’s sister Jackie took to social media to write, “I’m begging all who know him on your assistance for getting this photo to go viral in hopes of finding him,” Martic wrote in a message to the poker community. “We’re feeling very hopeless that he’s been absent for so long and we need your help.”
