Dash Dudley wins WSOP bracelet number 2

Dash Dudley won the second gold bracelet of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe when he took down the €550 Pot-Limit Omaha over three days of play to win his second career bracelet. In winning the tournament, Dudley outlasted 476 entries including Christopher Back heads-up to take home a $57,410 first-place prize. Dudley’s previous WSOP victory during the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event over the summer when he won nearly $1.1 million.

Meanwhile, three other WSOP Europe events are at various stages.

Event #3, the €1,350 Mini Main Event No-Limit Hold’em, entered the second Day 1 flight. Yesterday, Aleksandr Merzhvinskii accumulated the most chips during the first flight as 34 out of the 174 entries survived the day.

In Event #4, the €250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em, completed Day 1 with 16 out of 24 entries remaining and James Chen holding the chip lead to begin the day. Another 6 entered on Thursday on Day and at the time of this writing, just 7 players remain including James Chen. Dominik Nitsche is currently in the driver’s seat with the chip lead as of late Thursday afternoon.

Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey are among the most notable poker pros at World Series of Poker. Ivey faced off against the Mikita Badziakouski in this hand which got some attention:

Thursday also saw the start of Event #5, the €2,500 8-Game Mix, which began at 4 PM local time.

On Thursday, poker fans can tune into to Day 2 of the €250,000 Super High Roller at 11 AM on PokerGo. On Friday, fans will be able to see the conclusion of the tournament with final table coverage beginning at 8 AM ET.

– The iPoker Network is ready to unveil a new MTT schedule that will include 50% more tournaments on the poker network as well as 50% more progressive knockout tournaments. The largest number of tournament increases will come to the micro and low buy-in levels (below €9). The iPoker network will also be introducing a new table theme as well as new MTT promotions next month.

MGM has agreed to sell the Bellagio and Circus Circus for just over $5 million in an effort to position the company for expansion in sports betting in the United States as well as international expansion. Bellagio will be sold to Blackstone while Circus Circus will be sold to Phil Ruffin.
